Loyd

Loyd is an elegant residential complex located in the Dijkzone of Nijmegen, Netherlands, designed by EGM Architects. Comprising 78 luxury apartments, the project integrates seamlessly into a green area along the northern bank of the Waal River, offering residents a tranquil and scenic environment. The building’s design reflects a balance between contemporary aesthetics and residential functionality.

For the ventilated façades, GammaStone Gres Air Pietra Limestone cladding was chosen, a high-quality ceramic material that ensures excellent thermal and acoustic performance. The panels, with maximum dimensions of 3200 x 1600 mm and a total thickness of 17 mm, feature a 6 mm ceramic surface. This ventilated façade system offers numerous benefits, including effective protection against weather, reduced energy consumption, and enhanced residential comfort.

The Loyd project exemplifies how technological innovation and sustainable design can converge to create high-quality living spaces that integrate harmoniously with the surrounding urban and natural context.
