HyattPlace
Hyatt Place is an elegant skyscraper located in the heart of Chelsea, New York, designed by Gene Kaufman Architect PC. The building was conceived to integrate seamlessly into the city skyline with a tower of over 45 stories, housing more than 500 rooms and offering spectacular panoramic views of the Empire State Building and the Freedom Tower.
The façade is clad with GammaStone Natural Air panels in Limestone Mocha Cream, a Portuguese limestone with light beige tones and a fine-grain finish, giving the building a refined and contemporary appearance. The panels reach maximum dimensions of 3200 x 1500 mm, with a total thickness of 17 mm and a stone thickness of 6 mm. The GammaStone Air ventilated façade technology ensures excellent thermal and acoustic performance while complying with structural constraints for a slim profile of less than four inches.
Over 75,000 square feet of limestone panels were produced in Portugal, finished in Italy, and finally installed in New York. The project stands as a true symbol of technological innovation and urban luxury, combining the solidity of natural stone with cutting-edge international construction techniques.
