EssexCrossing3
Essex Crossing 3 is an innovative project located in the heart of New York’s Lower East Side, representing the first use of GammaStone Brick Air surfaces on a unified façade. This 15-story shopping center, designed by CetraRuddy, integrates seamlessly into the surrounding urban context, combining aesthetics and functionality.
For the façades, the GammaStone Brick Air solution was chosen with a Longformat Terra finish, characterized by a clean and timeless appearance. The panels, with maximum dimensions of 3000 x 1000 mm and a total thickness of 31 mm, feature a 20 mm brick layer. This solution allows for quick and secure installation through the unified façade system, which integrates the panels directly into prefabricated units off-site, reducing both assembly time and costs on-site.
The Brick Air technology offers numerous advantages, including high thermal, acoustic, and mechanical performance, while ensuring impeccable aesthetics. The joints between panels are designed to create a continuous effect across the façade, giving the building a monolithic and modern appearance.
